What it does

The converter patches the copied dedicated server world so your new dedicated server player account can use the original co-op host character. It also includes a server config editor, so you can manage common Palworld dedicated server settings without opening the `.ini` file by hand.

Character conversion

Maps the local co-op host save to the player ID generated by your dedicated server.

Palworld 1.0 support

Handles the Palworld 1.0 save wrapper used by current `PlM1` saves.

Guild-aware patching

Targets player and guild references so party Pals, base Pals, and Pal box access remain linked.

Server setting helper

Updates `DedicatedServerName` so the dedicated server loads the selected save folder.

Built-in server config editor

The app can read Palworld's default server settings, merge in your active server config, and let you edit common options through a tabbed UI. It writes to the correct Palworld server config folder and creates a backup before saving.

No text editor required

Edit server name, password, player limit, RCON, REST API, world balance, guild, base, and performance settings from the app.

Default-aware values

Blank or missing live config values are filled from `DefaultPalWorldSettings.ini`, so the editor starts from real Palworld defaults.

Windows and Linux paths

Uses `WindowsServer` or `LinuxServer` config folders depending on the selected dedicated server world.

How to use it

Copy the world

Move your local co-op world folder into the dedicated server save location.

Create the server player

Start the server once, join, create a character, log out, then stop the server.

Point the server

Use the settings button to make the server load the selected world folder.

Convert and test

Start the server again and confirm character, guild, Pals, Pal box, bases, and chests.

Use backups

This tool edits Palworld save files. Always keep a manual backup before using it. The app also creates a backup before writing changes, but you should still keep your own copy.
