How Does It Play?
The loop is simple to learn but layered to master. On the economic side you're building Neon Generators, managing a power grid, balancing storage capacity against production, and converting Neon to Cash through a live market with a fluctuating tax rate that rewards timing. On the military side you're training Fighters, Hackers, Spies, Saboteurs, and Transporters — each with distinct roles that reward strategic squad composition.
Missions run in real time. Send a Spy to case a target before committing to a raid. Hack an enemy's Neon directly with a 60% success window. Sabotage their power grid to cripple their defenses for hours. Coordinate a full assault with Fighters and Transporters loaded up with Warehouse-boosted carry capacity. And if you really want to make a statement — acquire a Nuclear Strike and vaporise a 3x3 grid of enemy territory in one shot.
Build a Crew, Run the City
Neon Wars has a full faction system. Create or join a faction, pool resources in a shared treasury, and coordinate territory control across the map. Factions compete on the leaderboard by total territory count — the more of the city your crew controls, the higher you rank. Climb from Puppet to Grunt to General to Leader as you prove your worth to the organisation.
